What is the Locate East Sussex (LES)?
Locate East Sussex helps small and medium-sized enterprises in East Sussex to grow and supports businesses moving into the county. The grants provide businesses with support services to help them reach new levels of productivity, investment, and business growth, and make valuable connections between companies and local planning and economic development teams.
This organisation based in St Leonards-on-Sea supports any sized business already based in East Sussex or companies moving into the County, to access funding to help grow the economy and create jobs in local communitiesThe LES support any sized business to access funding to help grow local economy and create jobs in local communities. LES contributes to the creation of a more desirable environment for the growth of new and existing businesses throughout the county, as well as promoting inward business migration. They also offer clear and impartial advice at no cost to businesses that seek its support.
LES, fully funded by East Sussex County Council, the five District and Borough Councils and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) are here to provide that support. It is there to listen, guide, and advocate for the businesses of East Sussex. Since it was established in 2013, LES has been there to help businesses discover the opportunities available to them for growth.
LES are also the delivery partner of East Sussex County Council’s ‘East Sussex Invest Fund that has provided over £6m in support to businesses looking to grow, and create jobs within the county.
