IGNITE is an international award winning business Ignite incubator programme supporting recent graduate entrepreneurs turn good ideas into great businesses. Based at University College Cork, the 12 month programme is open to all recent graduates from all third level institutions in Ireland who have the passion and ambition to work full-time on a scalable start-up idea with potential for commercial or social impact.
The IGNITE programme at UCC, which nurtures start-ups from ideas to commercial reality, is celebrating ten years of success this year. The IGNITE programme has supported more than 120 start-ups led by recent graduates since its inception in 2011. Over that time the companies have created 250 jobs and raised more than €16 million in funding.
Our flagship programme, IGNITE, is a comprehensive start-up incubation programme for founders working full-time on their start-up. The programme is open to recent graduates in any discipline from any 3rd level institution in Ireland. It includes essential workshops and seminars, entrepreneur guest speakers, mentoring with experienced entrepreneurs and business owners, funding and workspace offered on a flexible basis so you get the skills and knowledge, advice and guidance you need when you need it.
