What is the Ad:venture start:up?
The Ad:venture start:up offers fully funded support and advice to people starting or scaling a business. They deliver a range of services including interactive webinars and events on a variety of business topics, a dedicated business advisor, access to industry and academic expertise, and access to finance including grant funding up to £25,000.
Start Up West Yorkshire will help you achieve your business goals, through mentoring, 121 support, webinars and workshops, as well as events and development opportunities.
To be eligible for Start Up West Yorkshire, you MUST be:
A resident of West Yorkshire
Interested in setting up your own business or have a business that has been actively trading for less than 12 months.
Aged 18 or over
The Ad:Venture Start-Up is a new programme of hands-on business support for people in West Yorkshire. The Start-Up programme will help you grow your new business with:
- A diagnostic of your business/business idea
- Dedicated support from a local Start-Up Manager throughout your time on the programme & up to September 2024
- One-to-one specialist support, delivered by business experts
- Webinars on key business topics & specialist sessions to meet your specific business needs
- Events and networking opportunities
Eligibility in detail:
AD:VENTURE supports individuals who would like to start a business, or businesses trading less than 36 months based in or re-locating in the Leeds City Region area (Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York. To qualify for AD:VENTURE support, the business should trade primarily with other businesses, or be looking to grow that market and have ambitions for growth including future job creation.
The Start-up Grant, from £500 to £2,500, designed to cover start-up costs, such as items of equipment, broadband installation, marketing collateral, professional fees and essential insurance related costs.
