What is the Dream Big Awards?

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the very best business owners, and they have a special award just for women entrepreneurs. Their annual Dream Big Awards program honors the achievements of small businesses and highlights their contributions to America’s economic growth. The program recognizes small businesses that exemplify the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and individual initiative.

Dream Big Awards

A business must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

  • For-profit business operating for at least one (1) year primarily within the United States 
  • Have less than 250 employees OR have gross revenues of less than $20 million
  • Applicants can apply for up to two Business Achievement Awards, and all applicants will be considered for the Small Business of the Year Award (a $25,000 cash prize).

In addition to the Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award, eligible small businesses may apply to be considered for a Business Achievement Award.

There are eight Business Achievement Awards:

  • Emerging Business
  • Green/Sustainable Business
  • Minority-Owned Business
  • Veteran-Owned Business
  • Woman-Owned Business
  • Young Entrepreneur Business
  • LGBTQ-Owned Business
  • Community Support and Leadership Award

Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award

The following prizes will be awarded to the winner of the Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award:

  • $25,000 cash prize
  • One-year paid U.S. Chamber of Commerce Membership (valued at $250)
  • Recognition and acceptance speech on stage during the Dream Big Awards Gala
  • One (1) complimentary registration for the Small Business Summit (valued at $275)
  • Two-night hotel stay during the Small Business Summit
  • Discounted registration of $275 for any additional registrants affiliated with the company (valued at $275)
  • One-minute promo video played during the Dream Big Awards Gala during the Small Business Summit
  • Web sticker to display on company website

Award winner will be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes that may be applicable
