Google Adopt a Startup

What is the Google Adopt a Startup?

Innovative Irish startups received a welcome boost from Google today after being accepted on to Google’s Adopt a Startup Programme.  They will now have the opportunity to work closely with Google executives and identify how they can more quickly scale their businesses for growth both in Ireland and internationally.

Google Adopt a Startup

The Adopt a Startup Programme forms part of Google’s commitment to supporting the Startup community in Ireland.  Over 100 companies have participated in the programme since its inception and many have gone on to raise significant capital funding and greatly increase their employee numbers.

Adopt A Startup is a startup mentoring programme whose mission is to accelerate the growth of high-potential Irish startups. Through hands-on mentoring from Google Consultants, industry networking opportunities and exclusive lectures and workshops at Google’s EMA HQ, we strive to help ambitious startups to scale their business further.

The Adopt A Startup programme sees small businesses paired up with Google support teams who will work with them from Google’s Irish headquarters to accelerate their growth. Each Startup will receive 12 weeks hands-on mentoring, access to exclusive lectures, fire-side chats and workshops at the Google Ireland offices.

Following the completion of the programme, each start-up will have the chance to pitch their own unique growth plan to a panel of select judges. The prizes up for grabs include €10,000 in Google Ads credit and eligibility for the Google Cloud Programme, which includes $100,000 in Google Cloud Credit. This is indicative of the positive growth of the start-up community, which is something that Google is very happy to strongly support on an ongoing basis
