ISfB: Go-Create grants – Oxford

What is the ISfB: Go-Create grants – Oxford ?

The ISfB: Go-Create grants – Oxford are are offered as part of the Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) Phase 2 programme. Go-Create Grants are available on a competitive basis from £1,000 to £50,000 and are available to eligible Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) under the De Minimis State Aid scheme with a minimum 3:1 co-investment requirement by the applicant business. Projects must be a minimum £20,000 total costs (minimum £15,000 grant) and include capital expenditure only. Due to the limited time remaining in in the programme, applicants must be able to defray all expenditure by 31st July 2022.

Individual items must cost no more than £24,999 each to avoid applicants from having to pursue a lengthy procurement procedure before July. We aim to let people know within 21 days of the cut-off date as to whether or not their application has been successful. You will be advised as early as possible if there is likely to be a delay.

In order to receive an application pack, you will need to first watch the recording of the Go-Create grants webinar on the Go-Create webpage and/or to have a conversation with a member of the ISfB team. There is also a grant guidance pack to read alongside the application and a FAQ document which you may find helpful too.

The grant rounds are a competition and we strongly suggest you allow enough time before a grant deadline to put your application together.

At this webinar, you will find out:

  • What support is available
  • If you are eligible
  • How to apply
  • The rules around Go-Create grants
  • Key dates that you need to be aware regarding your potential application
  • Why applications are unsuccessful

Examples of these projects might include:

  • Investment in product and service development
  • Technological and applied research
  • Developing pilot lines
  • Early product validation actions
  • Supporting advance manufacturing capabilities
  • First production

If you are unsure as to whether your business might be able to benefit from a Go-Create grant, this OxLEP Business webinar is for you.
