What is the Low Carbon Workspaces?
The Low Carbon Workspaces helps small to medium sized enterprises identify opportunities to reduce energy usage and provides grant funding to help pay for the installation of energy efficiency solutions in commercial premises.
Who can benefit?
Grants are available to SMEs based in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. Eligible projects must result in a quantifiable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions – don’t worry, we can calculate this for you!

Grants cannot be paid retrospectively so it is essential to apply before undertaking work or appointing suppliers. Also Note: Buckinghamshire businesses that have previously received a grant from Low Carbon Workspaces can now ‘top-up’ by applying again for another grant, up to a combined maximum of £5,000 funding. For example: if a business previously received a £2,500 grant, it can now receive another grant of up to £2,500.
