South East Business Boost (SEBB)

What is the South East Business Boost (SEBB)?

The South East Business Boost (SEBB) programme provides free business support to start-ups and SMEs within the South East Local Enterprise Partnership area, covering East Sussex, Essex, Kent and Medway. The programme is completely free to access, providing you meet the required eligibility, and can help your company to expand physically and financially. We support a huge range of businesses and are well equipped to enable local organisations to do more and offer more across this beautiful region.

South East Business Boost (SEBB)

The scheme aims to deliver investment to businesses across the South East Local Enterprise Partnership region:

  • Kent
  • Essex (including Southend and Thurrock)
  • East Sussex.

The programme can fund up to 30% of the costs of qualifying projects, with the remaining 70% being met by the business. No purchases may be made, or suppliers engaged, until your project is approved. Once approved, all purchases have to be paid for in full before 30% of the cost can be claimed back.

The programme has three business support programmes and a business grants programme, please scroll down to read more about each programme:

  • SEBB Big Ambitions: Specialist Support for established companies looking to grow
  • SEBB Ready to Grow: A tailored programme to support new businesses up to 12 months old
  • SEBB > BREAKTHROUGH: Support aimed at female-led and ethnic minorities-led businesses
  • SEBB Grants: Grants to support businesses to improve productivity and increase employment

Who is this project for?
